In this self-paced reading course, students will travel with Jack and Annie to ancient Baghdad, where they will face sandstorms, meet scholars, and complete an important mission! Along the way, they will earn points and badges for completing fun activities.
For each chapter, students will:
✅ Watch or read the chapter summary (earning points & badges!)
✅ Answer warm-up questions to get ready
✅ Complete a vocabulary builder OR take a chapter quiz
✅ Answer the wrap-up poll question
✅ (Optional) Choose a creative project
🏜️ To move to the next chapter, students must: complete the warm-up, wrap-up, at least one vocab or quiz, and the summary.
At the end of the course, students will take a whole-book quiz to test their knowledge. They can also complete whole-book projects for extra fun! Some chapters may include interactive videos or activities about desert survival, the Golden Age of Baghdad, and ancient trade routes.
