In this self-paced reading course, students will follow Jack and Annie as they set off on a magical journey across the sea, searching for a powerful sword while facing a legendary sea serpent! Along the way, they will earn points and badges for completing exciting activities.
For each chapter, students will:
✅ Watch or read the chapter summary (earning points & badges!)
✅ Answer warm-up questions to prepare
✅ Complete a vocabulary builder OR take a chapter quiz
✅ Answer the wrap-up poll question
✅ (Optional) Choose a creative project
⚡ To move to the next chapter, students must: complete the warm-up, wrap-up, at least one vocab or quiz, and the summary.
At the end of the course, students will take a whole-book quiz to test their knowledge. They can also complete whole-book projects for extra fun! Some chapters may include interactive videos or activities related to knights, sea creatures, and magical quests.
