In this self-paced reading course, students will join Jack and Annie as they travel to a haunted castle, encounter ghostly surprises, and use their wits to solve a mysterious problem! Along the way, they will earn points and badges for completing exciting activities.
For each chapter, students will:
✅ Watch or read the chapter summary (earning points & badges!)
✅ Answer warm-up questions to prepare
✅ Complete a vocabulary builder OR take a chapter quiz
✅ Answer the wrap-up poll question
✅ (Optional) Choose a creative project
🕵️♂️ To move to the next chapter, students must: complete the warm-up, wrap-up, at least one vocab or quiz, and the summary.
At the end of the course, students will take a whole-book quiz to test their knowledge. They can also complete whole-book projects for extra fun! Some chapters may include interactive videos or activities related to castles, ghosts, and legendary quests.
